Class Description

Have you been seeing all of the Cricut patterns online lately? Are you wondering what the fuss is about? Well, they are amazing! We love using them here at Melt, and Katy is going to show you ALLLL about them!

This is a lecture class only, no glass or supplies are necessary. 

In this lecture, we will cover the different Cricut machines, the pros and cons of each, and then walk through how to add a pattern into Cricut Design Space. We will cover sizing, cut settings, how to create a vinyl pattern and a paper pattern, and we will troubleshoot some of the little quirks that can come up along the way.

From there, we will take the vinyl pattern and go over transfer and application to the glass, tips for good adhesion through the cutting and grinding processes, and what to do when your glass breaks. Whether you're brand new to Cricut, whether you own one or are just purchasing the digital patterns online, this class will show you practical tips for getting consistent, repeatable results. 

All students will go home with a small vinyl pattern to try at home!
