Class Description
Get ready for gift season! Capture those summer memories in a beautiful handmade frame. Great on a bookshelf or hanging, these will really make very meaningful gifts! Once again, everything will be provided for you WITH THE EXCEPTION OF YOUR GLASS. This is for one picture frame.
This course consists of one session of 3.5-4 hours.
You will need to bring approximately ONE Square Foot of glass to class with you. We will provide all other materials/tools.
Your finished frame will be approx 9x5".
In this workshop, we will focus on creating a small panel with a clear center, wrapped with zinc, then decorating them with beautiful etchings, if you'd like. Instructions/patterns will be provided for the students to take home, but please feel free to create your own SIMPLE pattern (time will be limited).
**A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF HAND STRENGTH IS REQUIRED WHEN CUTTING GLASS. IF YOU FEEL THIS COULD BE A CONCERN FOR YOU (ie. hand tremor or arthritis) PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THE CLASS.
