Description:
Ever wish you could just pop in and make whatever project (or two!) you wanted instead of waiting for us to list that one specific class you want on the exact date and time that you're available? Ever wished you had more than 2 hours to work on it? Well, your wish is our command! Stay for an hour or for the entire session, that's up to you. It's YOUR playtime!
This is a minimally supervised workshop. Staff will be present, but attendees will be expected to be mostly familiar with the process from their previous classes. This is intended to be an unsupervised workshop. Show up anytime during the hours listed, but be sure to give yourself at least 2 hours of worktime per project. The fee covers one project, but you can purchase additional projects when you get here, if you'd like.
Using our pre-cut blanks, you will apply glass bits, stringers, vitrograph, murrini, dichroic, frit, and more to create the project(s) of your choosing. All materials are provided, please do NOT bring outside materials to these classes. All firings are also included in the listed price.
**A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF HAND STRENGTH IS REQUIRED WHEN CUTTING GLASS. IF YOU FEEL THIS COULD BE A CONCERN FOR YOU (ie. hand tremor or arthritis) PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THE CLASS.
Please review our enrollment and cancellation policy, dress code and other class-related details HERE prior to attending your class. If you have any questions regarding these policies or other class-related topics, please feel free to contact us at (360) 771-5617.
We also have a handout regarding Safety in the Studio that we would like you to review prior to your class.
**Photos are examples of items that have been made in these classes. The variety and colors of glass available will vary.
