Class Description
You asked and we listened! Our *NEW* Intermediate Stained Glass club is the perfect follow up to our Beginner Series 101-103. This is a great chance to venture out on your own, with a larger and/or more complicated project, but without having to invest in the equipment or supplies quite yet! Provide your own pattern or select from one of ours, purchase your glass, and the rest is on us.
Here is what you'll have access to when you're part of the club:
- All hand tools, glass cutters, and soldering irons
- Large workspace, cutting mats, soldering surfaces, wet room for cleaning projects
- Grinders, flat lap grinder, ring saw, strip cutter, zinc cutter, lead stretcher
- Flux, patinas, cleaners, polish
- Copper foil, solder, lead or zinc border came, hangers
- Up to 16 hours with instructor per month
- Unlimited open studio time for the month of your tuition to work on your class project or whatever you choose
**This is an intermediate class. You MUST have taken the 101-103 beginner classes, or have commensurate experience.
SESSION DETAILS: The instructor will be present from 5-9pm every Tuesday night to assist and instruct you, as needed. Come and go as you please during those hours. There is NO set curriculum for the sessions, so you can feel free to work at your own pace.
PROJECT DETAILS: Copper foil projects only. Bring your own pattern or choose one from our extensive library and have copies made (not included in class price, we suggest Office Depot). You can even bring a project you already started at home! Projects must be no more than 50 pieces AND a maximum 20" x 20".
